thumbsup ye, in solid state or OP circuits it is more really. But working with such highest gain up is not easy yet

in/out trafos and 3 stages can give real 60dB of gain up,with reasonable noise floor. How you can see, some customers use ribbon mic (
frans,for example) without problem
