Beautiful traps gang!
I've been reading this thread completely over the last 2 days as well as Ethan Whiners "acoustic treatment and design for recording stuidos". I picked up most of it but from what I understand, My 9x11 room is too small for treatment and is better off deadened...is this the case?
I'm dying to build and come up with a trap design myself and have already been to the hardware store. The only thing I could find here on Vancouver Island is the Roxul sheet rock 4 and 6 inch.
Considering my room size would you mind recommending some trap design features that I need to consider. ie:
I still dont know if I should put a plywood backing on it or just polyester cloth in the front as well as the back?
I noticed in cojos later designs that there is not a lot of wood left after hes finished with the jig saw, just a thought, but how would building a frame out of 1x1's work, it seems to me that after all the cuttiing it looks like that is about what the size of the wood left is and 1x1 frame construction would save a lot of time and effort as well as wood waste. Mind you, they would not be as pleasing to look at as his.
thx in advance, Roly
