There's a particular sound I really want to nail but can't quite get it right..
A really good example is on Voyager by Daft Punk.
It's also on their remix of Mothership Reconnection and quite a few other tracks.

I know theres obviously a lot ducking/side chaining to get that pumping sound, but the actual bass sound is the killer. Is it a synth like a 106 or is it actually a real bass....?
Thoughts people?
