I have never heard that particular Behringer mic, but I do have a pair of Oktava MK219s. They are good mics, but they may not be the greatest thing for room mics. I have tried them for that purpose, and end up using other things.

There is a model of Behringer mic that you may be interested in for the room mic use - the ECM8000 (I think that is the model number). They are small-diaphram omni-pattern mics, which can often be very good for room mics. The best part is that they can be had for $35-40 (US dollars). They are slightly noisy, but if you're recording rock music, you shouldn't have a problem. They are probably the best mic deal going today.
