i picked up an Electro-Harmonix "Holy Grail" reverb pedal last saturday. The salesdroid told me "these things are a real pain to get to the battery, b/c you have to pull out these screws on top and take the whole thing apart.....i don't know why they didn't put in a battery compartment".
......well.....they didn't put in a battery compartment b/c the Holy Grail DOESN'T TAKE BATTERIES.
i got it home and it's noisy as hell. i thought maybe i'd get lucky and get a quiet one. it's going back tomorrow.
