I came to a crossroads 2 years ago, so I built a hybrid system combining everything I loved into a modular console. I run my HD3 with 32 i/o into 16 Neve VR cannels and 16 SSL e channels I have had custom racked into a custom 32 into 8 summing system I designed and built all with balanced inserts on every input and outputs. For me there is no going back. The is very open ended.
