Yeah, small rooms affect the recording when close micing - especially low frequencies.

Just recorded some elect guit tracks.....multiple amps....small room...amps on chairs and such.
Was outside the room laying on my back (I'm old..bad back) listening to the blended sound and was amazed at how much bass was hitting me at that level.
