OK, after some more A/B testing, I just can't get the mackie sound out, even with EQing. Actualy I made it sound very similar, but it just seems that the sound without the mackie is "richer/fuller", almost like comparing 24 vs 16 bit.
Very odd.
Anyways, I'm back to finding a solution to my mess.
What I have is two sources that I need to combine and send to a pair of monitors, and I need a amp for my headphones.
Something similar to the coleman MKII/s. What do you guys think about Coleman? Is it much more transparent than the mackie?
How is the headphone pre-amp on the coleman?
Any other possibilities?
