and way better than any LDC´s or other switchable mics...the more expensive/accurate ones are rather more accurate in the high frequencies (say for measuring speakers/tweeters etc.), for room acoustics the cheap one are absolutely fine, because your room problems will be at least 10x more flawed than the mic
