hey everyone!i'm back in action.

just moved into my new place- got a sweet little room to do some mixing in..and i just purchased the parts to what i think will be a sweet ass machiiiine...(computer)

hey dim...(.) (.) pics look nice dude!

didn't know you must use an omni!
so all my graphs are only half true

i'm not trying to make a perfect room, i'm trying to make perfect mixes!
so as long as i have an idea- i'm not gonna fret that much about an omni mic.

anyways, new room brings new questions!

i have hardwoord floors, and my monitors with my traps just sitting on the floors right now, sound fukkkin' amazing, WAY better than they ever did in carpet rooms.

but i'm knowing, i must build a cloud...

my question is...should i get a little carpet for this room? or should i just skate around in my socks? haha.. all the high end studios i've seen have nice hardwood floors..and i must say my monitors sound very good right now..i was amazed this morning when i hooked them up

what do you acoustic guys say? carpet/no carpet..
