yeah that one cat from zeppelin, the drummer uh... there was page, plant, zoso... i forget who the drummer was. whatever. that fool slammed his drums like nothin, that shit was ill. like somebody said, when the levy breaks is an ill ass example of that. if i ever used loops or breaks i'd snag that without shame like zeppelin did to all them southern black rock musicians they stole from. haha.
queen was on some fly shit too, made me appreciate melody a little more, plus the progressive shit you know, so we aint all got 4-bar intro, 16 bar verses, 4/8 bar hook, etc. formula. thas the word. queen broke that kinda formulaic shit. yall remember the theme for flash gordon? FLASH!.... (ah-aaahh)
haha. yeh like that one guy said i banged classic rock. the old aerosmith too, like "kings & queens" an whatever. back in the saddle. that had ill energy.
that being said my music dont really sound like rock, i was prolly influenced in sneakier ways. i aint use distorted guitar pretty much at all, but i do use raw steel-string, lot of slides and bluesy sounding shit, or jus raw acoustic.
