Needed a quick sm57 for a session. I ask for the 57 (the cheapest mic in the glass case) and the salesguy asked what I needed it for. I told him i needed it for a guitar cab, we were short a mic. He said, while looking at me rather incredulously, "Why in the world would you want to use a 57 on a guitar??" as he started to gesture toward the more expensive mics.
