something can sound bad and be an effect but that dose not make the sound good in the context of good as it was intended or marketed.
to compare the sound in the context of say, is it similar to say a spring, or a plate, that would be a comparison that would have no bearing on the quality but instead a means of description.
a reverb can sound good and sound good period, it may not be what you want, but that will not make it bad, just not applicable.
a reverb can be bad, you may use it as an effect if you need a bad reverb, in this case it also maybe applicable, but, that will not make a good reverb.
yes everything is indeed perceived from ones perspective, this i agree, but a VW would never make a good drag car even if it were to be considered fast in some form of perspective, it aint no top fuel dragster
