Cause if my digital limiter is in and hits 0dbfs (maybe -2dbfs for a longer time) i will have around 95dbspl in my room that`s too hot, and can damage ears over short times.
So I wonder how to calibrate it well for mastering, or do I misunderstand/overlooked something ?
Do I need to turn down the output of the limiter to fit the K-14 System? If yes , I will have to normalize the mastered file ? I`m lost there, if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

EX. when you master at K-20 and you want your master 2 be 6db limited,
you set your volume knob 2 -6db.
listen 2 other cd's and compair how loud the cd's are ,-6db -4db ? (remember how loud 85 db was(k-20).
and not at 0db because if a cd is 6db limited then you are listening to 91dbSPL.
so lower the volume knob 2 -6db to get 85dbspl
you get a picture of how loud the albums are.
read bob katz his artical.
