i like the hypercanvas for its more 'obvious' synth sounds...like saw waves and sweep pads and things.....the adjustable parameters for patches like that make it a usefull tool. also the drum samples in the various modules are pretty usefull for mapping out demos and even beefing up recorded tracks (IE recording the samples and triggering via drumagog, etc), but the pianos and strings (the real stuff) are dubious. Depends on how much realism/dynamics you're looking for, but for real professional results, esp piano id look into the Edirol Orchestral box, its piano dynamics controls are awesome and very lifelike, and tahts to say nothing of its string and horn sounds, which are phenomenal.
