Bussing is the action of grouping the output of specific tracks to run them together. Aux is the splitting off of the signal via an aux section, to run that send signal through a process: verb, delay, comp, etc. and mix it back into the channel or bus selected. Multiple channels or busses can be mixed together through the aux. Inserts are the same princible as the aux but are individually channel or bus specific. If you have a mixing board, all of the above should be present.
