hi.
I hear different people say different things about doubling and dubbing

are there actually any difference between the two?

I mean if you double a guitar part you play exactly the same one more time. whats the definision of dubbing? same? or is it dubbing if you harmonize it or play some sort of difference from the original, but with the same musical function?
