yup, on a Mac.

i was also told to go back to 1.7.4 to see if i get any more problems. mainly i get kernel panic's in PTMP, but i even get kernel panic's at single-user mode (DOS like page).

the most current version now is 1.8.1. i'll go to 1.7.4 later tonight to see if there's improvement or not.
