Internship In Philly/Nyc or in between

Hello fellow slutz, I need some advice/help:

I make a living teaching private lessons (guitar and piano) and I make side cash mixing projects in my small ITB box studio (pro tools m-powered, cubase sx 3, profire lightbridge, benchmark dac1, waves platinum, urs comps and eq, altiverb, the bombfactory stuff, and a ton of vst instruments). I'm looking for some suggestions about how to approach getting a studio internship, and what to expect. I live in Philadelphia and would prefer to stay here but for the right opportunity I could make it down to Nyc a couple of days a week. I guess my problem is that I'm a musically educated guy, Berklee grad (jazz composition, not engineering),with limited experience in commercial studios, and I'm not sure that I can stomach running for coffee and cleaning toilets. However, I'm sick to high hell of teaching/gigging and I really enjoy the studio work that I've been involved in, so maybe I would do anything for a time if it looked like things were going to pan out. Anyway, anybody know of any intern friendly studios in Philly or Nyc, or do any of you guys in my area need someone? Any advice is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Nate
