hmmm, isn't it kind of irresponsible to be posting unsubstantiated observations like this? I'm not trying to cause a ruckus, but without audio/visual examples as proof, these types of comments are like gear manufacturer propoganda.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for my "1st generation" BLUE Blueberry to be worth more money nowadays. It would just be nice to have a distributor or owner of these mic's record examples of an old Blueberry, a new one, and a JZ version. Next, pop open the mic bodies of all three mics to take a picture of the inside's, side-by-side for comparison. Then the consumers(us) will be well informed as to where to invest our money. Conversely, if a certain manufacturer is shown to have used inferior components or manufacturing processes, then they will have the opportunity to rectify this - if they actually care.
