I'm having a meeting with 2 Apple people at the NAMM show this weekend. I will bring this to their attention (after I try to get myself a free Iphone that is.... I JOKE! I JOKE!......)
I do know that like a Digidesign, new release stuff is VERY locked down and Apple staff are very likely forbidden to communicate info to ANYONE...(so you may never get that email Meriphew.......)
But I will do my very best to try to get that phone (...I mean show them this post)
