Right... we'll just let the track count limits, proprietary hardware, and lame excuse for midi slide.

It's pretty silly to compare M-Powered and LE to Logic. I owned an HD system for over a year and in my opinion I felt crippled with Pro Tools HD compared to Logic. I sold it and have an M-Powered system with the production toolkit now just for compatibility and multi channel Beat Detective. It's pretty much a joke compared to the abilities Logic gives me.

But at the same time I hear you. Digidesign is a big company whose focus is DAWs. Apple is a big company with a great DAW who pretty much ignores it. What they announce tomorrow will make or break a LOT of people's faith in Apple to maintain the greatness of Logic. If they don't wow me, and Digi comes out with an even better product, I'll probably get back into the high end side of Digi.

Either way, they both continue to allow me to make great albums, so I really can't complain. Namm is like Christmas and it's fun to daydream so why not?
