In the keynote address, Jobs said that computer stuff will be in up-comming months. Right now it looks like they don't want to take any thunder away from iPhone and Apple TV.
It might be a bit early for Logic 8, I would think that it'd be more like 7.5
Rumors have been flying for the last year however, that Logic is undergoing a significant rework. Enough so that people have either been fired or quit over it. Also, it is rumored that the old Emagic developers are so unhappy that they stopped developing. I hope this is all exagerations.
It's been over a year since Logic had a 'real' update. I hope they've got something to show at NAMM.
