Not sure about the 1010 clock yet. And I'm not sure yet what additional outputs will cost. But to the question-
"Is this going to be a 1 rack space unit or a standalone "set on top of everything else" affair?"
The answer to that is yes. It will be a "set on top of everything else affair"
