I´ve been waiting for an AES/EBU PCIe solution from either Lynx or RME.(I´m on a Mac Pro now) cause it seems to be a commen opinion that the lacenty of any firewire solution is "bigger" than the AES/EBU solution. But it seems like some are making firewire solutions that minimize the latency.
Can you comment on that re. Myteks firewiresolution and maybe even give me a releasedate?
At the moment I´m working on getting the Mytek connected with the Mac Pro using the digital I/O on the computer.

I don't know how will our card do with latency compared to PCI/PCIe cards. I know we are using the fastest available chipset from TC (DICEII) so it'll be most efficient when compared to other firewire solution. In terms of release , physical card exists but derivers/firmware are being still debugged by developer. I'd refrain of giving exact date as bugs are not always predictable but it's around the corner. The reviewer tested the 8X192 with the Protools HD card which has been available for a while.
