Like I said before I couldn't find any acoustic caulk here in Portugal, what I found that was the nearest was a very elastic caulk that cost me about 6Eur a 300ml tube so it's not that cheap. The Auralex cost me 18Eur but it is a 857ml tube so in the end it is almost the same price.
The cheapest caulk I've seen here was 3Eur for a tube of 300ml.
My studio is very small compared to yours so the difference will not be that much .
Thanks for your support Steve.
I've been reading your thread, very inspiring thumbsup |
Cool,
You are doing the right thing by using the best materials you can.
its way easier to do it right now than to have to go back to redo something
dont worry about the gear, spend your $$$$ on the room, the gear can be added easily later but the room needs to be the focus now.
keep up the good work !
