He probably has no idea what a serious problem this causes. I bet he assumes you just need to break out the feather duster for a minute or two. Perhaps you need to show him exactly how serious this is and let him know that next time he causes this kind of damage because he didn't bother to communicate with you, you will have to bill him for the tech time and any sessions that had to be cancelled during the repairs.
