Don't be too quick to jump to conclusions. If the EcoPink stuff is based on rigid fiberglass or rock wool, it's probably very close in performance to the other brands. Measuring absorption is not nearly as precise as measuring the frequency response or distortion of gear. Results for the very same material measured at different times in different labs can vary as much as 50 percent at 125 Hz. In my experience, most insulation / absorbing materials are more alike than different.
