I tried some THC
on a bass DI track last nite, had the PSP vintage warmer, UA LA2A and the THC on it, sounded awesome!!
The THC gave the track the right amount of bite, I could turn the bass down alil in the track with it still being clear and ballsy. The THC doesnt muck up the low end like some distortion plugs do.
I also tried Roundbadges suggestion, THC on the drum buss. For me it was the kick, snare tom bus, pre-fader....very nice!!! The added grit made the drums alil punchier!!!
Kudos to Mr. Massey!!!
