I guess that this problem is hardware related. You might have touched some cable or card inside the computer that finally disconnected during your power-off and power-on power button switches on the computer. Check all the LED indicator cables going to the chassis and also that all IDE cables are properly connected into the devices and into the motherboard. Also check that no cable touches any fan. Check that the monitor cable is properly connected at both ends. Remove the 424 card as you try to fix the problem. If this doesn't work the Motu card might have configured the bios in an invalid way causing some kind of device conflict. In that case, jumper it to reset state.
If nothing seems to help the motherboard might have become corrupt. Before drawing that conclusion you can try to unplug one RAM module at a time, reboot and validate error status.
