well i just got a motu 24 i/o today with a 424 card.

plugged it in. worked fine for a few hours.

however, turned the machine off, and when i turn it on, nothing appears on screen. everything is powering up but nothing is displaying. no bios screen.

have swapped the graphics card out, and still the same. have taken all the ram out, reseated it, tried one at a time, still nothing. taken all other pci cards out, still the same.

what is it? a broken motherboard?

i looked online, and it seems all motherboards are now pci express. does anyone still do normal pci cards?

does anyone know what the best chipset is for music with an amd x2 3800 processor. one that wont have problems with the 424?

sorry for all the questions, but im panicking!
