A friend of mine hasn't ever been to visit her uncle in Brazil because it would be very dangerous if they saw her last name written down on an ID or anything. But I've also heard that it's pretty common practice for people to get robbed on the way to weddings and such as well?
That said I'm really looking forward to playing some techno in Sao Paulo some day!
