This is all speculation/ideas of course:

Since there is no real distorted guitar rolling thru there (just an ES335 into a Vox for the lead or similar) there is a lot of space.

The coustic has most of it's low end rolled off and the mids are forward (either thru EQ, guitar, mic, positioning, preamp or any combo therein).

Regards,
David

1. Type of acoustic Guitar?
2. Signal chain on mix?

The acoustic guitar sound was bright and cut through the mix brilliantly well…

Any Ideas?
