As a matter of factr, I do like stuff that sounds like FIIIZZZZXXXXSSSSSTTTTFFFF.

Plogue is a lot like max/msp, but it seems easier to use. They havn't released the 1.0 version yet. The deconcrisseur is one of many modules in it and it is a bit/sample rate reducer.
