It's just like the SSL C200. Duende is not an emulation really although you do have the option of the G or E series EQ. Handling, however, is very much like an SSL board - just with a few more options like side chaining with the filter or EQ. You can also have the filter before or after the EQ and you can monitor your Sidechain. The Duende saved me money, I was going to go for a PCI expansion chassis and another UAD card with some optional plugins but this would have cost me about the same and would have NOT given me 32 (count em, 32) SSL channels so I can really reocomend this product.
