I got one of the 'older' Pearl floater snares....it's NOT the Torres sig model, but it ROCKS! They have the full floater shells, so you can change out different types of shells by removing the top head, rim, etc. They look the same to me as the Tico Torres Sig model....but hey, what do I know?
It's a VERY heavy built drum, and you can get them for ALOT less on Ebay (the 'regular' ones).
It's my second favorite snare for recording. (my first is a 'vintage' Ludwig Suphraphonic)
